We started in 2020 as The Hearty Beet food truck for a way to introduce tasty vegan food to Washington County. When I made cashew nacho cheese for the first time years ago, I knew I had to share it with everyone. I then started making cheesecakes with cashew cream and coconut butter and knew I had a future in the vegan food world. After a year of running the food truck, we found that most of our customers were visiting us for our gluten-free menu, so we went entirely gluten-free. With the help of my family, we have served St. George and surrounding areas for 5 years at events and our mall parking spot. It is definitely time to expand our entirely Vegan and Gluten-free menu and invite more people to The Hearty Beet Cafe.
